A Self‑Invested Personal Pension (SIPP) gives you greater control over how your pension is invested, but not every type of investment is allowed.
Alltrust permits a wide range of investments, provided they meet our regulatory and operational requirements. A full and up‑to‑date list of permitted, restricted and unacceptable investments can be found in our Permitted Investments List, available in our Document Library.
Most members invest in standard or mainstream investments, which include (but are not limited to):

Some higher‑risk or more complex investments are only accepted where a member has been formally assessed by Alltrust as a Knowledgeable Investor, for example:

If an investment becomes unacceptable due to regulatory change, Alltrust may require it to be sold.
